This is such a vast area with so much to see it’s impossible to talk about all the ports we could visit when cruising around this coast of Italy.
Below is a taster of what you could see on your Italian sailing holiday.
- Tyrrhenian Sea: From Civitavecchia to Reggio Calabria in the Strait of Messina. Including a string of off lying islands including Ventotene, Ponza, Ischia Capraia, Procida and Capri.
- Rome and Naples also lie off this coast.
- Covers four provinces: Latium, Campania, Basilicata and Calabria
- Ionian Sea: Along the foot or Italy. The least developed part of the Italian coast with a sparse scattering of marinas and harbours. from Capo dell’Armi to Capo S. Maria de Leuca. There are multiple ports along this stretch including Roccella Ionica, La Castella, Crotone, Ciro Marina, Taranto and Gallipoli
